Introduction
The BS Business Analytics prepares students to connect data and models to substantive business problems to make optimal business decisions. The program is a blend of business knowledge, Big Data analytical tools, statistical techniques and Artificial Intelligence for solving real business problems. To better comprehend business situations, students focus on collecting and analyzing data, drawing on computer technology, statistics, applied mathematics, and machine learning techniques.
The program specially concentrates database systems, data visualization tools and techniques, statistical modeling, data mining, optimization, simulation, and their applications in business disciplines such as accounting, finance, human resources, insurance, management, and marketing.
Emphasis is placed throughout the program on development of all-rounded communications& soft skills, analytical &reasoning skills, ethical decision making and problem-solving capabilities.

The mission of BS Business Analytics program is to inculcate knowledge and application of data analytics skill sets required by every organization or company that uses data to make effective business decisions. To enhance the employment rate of the graduates the program places an emphasis on current and up-to-date software and tools in the field.

At least 45% marks in HSSC or equivalent qualification
