Arslan Ali is our alumni of Batch 2009 from the ECE Department, SS-CASE-IT, Pakistan. He completed his undergraduate studies with a fully-funded merit-based scholarship in 2013 with a Gold Medal. His research thesis was “Software Defined Networking (Multi-gigabit multi-core OpenFlow switch on NetFPGA platform)” In which he received the Grant from the National ICT R&D Fund from the Ministry of Information Technology, Government of Pakistan and won the overall best research thesis award.

He completed his Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Information technology from the University of Stuttgart in 2016 - Germany with excellent academic standings.

He has been working in collaboration with Sony R&D Europe since December 2014. He is an inventor of two international patents. His invented technologies will be introduced in next-generation Sony products.

Recent Awards and Achievements

He pursued his Ph.D. with a fully-funded scholarship from Sony-Germany in 2017. His research activities are focused on Deep learning for security applications. He is the author or co-author of several international conferences and journal papers.
