Prof. Saif ur Rehman
Prof. Saif R. Khan is adjunct Professor of Economics at CASE School of Engineering. He is a permanent Professor of Economics & Management Studies at Center for Advanced Studies in Engineering (CASE) Islamabad, teaching Masters & Doctoral students. He is author of a book titled “Bureaucratica” and 70 published articles. At SS-CARE, Professor Khan will be teaching Engineering Economics to the Final Year students of BSc (Electrical Engineering).

Post-graduate Diploma in Development Economics, Vanderbilt University, USA
MA (Economics) Government College University, Lahore
Post-graduate training in Planning and Appraisal of Infrastructure Projects, University of Bradford, UK

Work Experience

Dr. Professor Saif R. Khan, was formerly Joint Secretary to the Government of Pakistan, before he joined the faculty of CASE and SS-CARE. He has over 35 years of research, public administration, diplomatic, and teaching experience in Pakistan, England, and Japan. Prof. Khan was a Professor of Economics at Iqra University in 2005. He was Professor of Economics with the Muhammad Ali University (MAJU) Islamabad for six years (1998-2004). Professor Khan has also been Course Director at the Foreign Service Academy Islamabad, Visiting Professor at FAST/National University of Computer & Emerging Sciences Islamabad, and at International Islamic University Islamabad. In addition, Professor Khan was a consultant to the United Nations Fund for Population Activities (UNFPA) in 2001.
