Mr. Waqas Bukhari

Waqas Bukhari is a Lecturer at CASE. He specializes in statistical modeling of networks, time series analysis, adaptive and blind signal processing.

Educational Qualifications

M.Sc. from CASE Pakistan (2009)
B.E from NUST Pakistan (2007)

Work Experience

Mr. Bukhari has been associated with NUST as a research assistant during the year 2008-09. He was part of a project named MAGGIE, initiated by Les Cottrell (Professor, Stanford University). MAGGIE is a multidimensional research project and NUST is its collaborating partner under the theme of “network performance analysis”. Bukhari worked on a module named, “Network weather forecasting”, employed statistical signal processing/modeling algorithms (research studies proved their viability for econometric data analysis in forecasting market trends) to forecast/predict various network performance metrics and to detect any potential anomalies in various network performance metrics.
