Mr. Ch. Fazl-E-Muqeem

Ch. Fazle Muqeem is an Assistant Professor in the Engineering Management Department at CASE. His current responsibilities include but are not limited to the raising and streamlining of the BBA Program at CASE. With an MBA from a top European school like Warwick Mr. Chaudry has over seventeen years of administrative experience with the public and quasi public sector organizations.

Work Experience

Ever since his entry into the academia Mr. Chaudry has amalgamated cutting edge theory with real-time cases carrying both an international as well as a local flavor for teaching and training purposes. His consulting and training experience includes but is not limited to work for Pakistan Telecom Corporation under the aegis of France Telecom, the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan and Ministry of Women Development under the aegis of the Asian Development Bank etc.

Endeavors into training and development include Mr. Chaudry’s association with NUST (2002-07) where as a trainer/capacity builder he has helped redefine the content and spirit of the MBA programme by taking senior course participants to local industry and doing real-time capacity building projects. These were targeted full-length modules on human resource development and performance management systems. Companies approached included multinationals like Telenor, Touchstone, and Ultimus. In 2006 he has read a conference paper on the “challenge of relevance within the national management education scenario” at the Association of Management Development Institutions of Pakistan (AMDIP) Conference held in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Recently, Mr. Chaudry has won training/capacity building affiliations with the Ark Consulting Group, Higher Education Commission (HEC) for their national Faculty Professional Development Programme and the Ministry of Information Technology (MOIT). With the Ark Consulting Group (2007-09) as a senior trainer Mr. Chaudry has designed and led modules for the group’s diploma on Global Professional Human Resources and Human Resource Management and has recently delivered for Zhong from the same platform. As a part of his training responsibilities with the Ministry of Information Technology Mr. Chaudry was designated as the training head for the Outreach Scholarship Programme (OSP-2007-08) Through the project executants i.e. FAST-National University. Only recently, Mr. Chaudry has done a full day workshop with the senior management of National Bank of Pakistan. In early spring 2008 Mr. Chaudry designed and delivered a USAID-Shorebank supported, middle management focused training on “Sales Force Management” for a leading Micro-Finance Bank. This was a nationwide roll out. The spring of 2009 saw Mr. Chaudry training IBA Karachi faculty on the niceties of the Case Teaching Methodologies.
