Dr. Sadia Aziz

Dr. Sadia Aziz is working as an Assistant Professor at CASE. She specializes in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks. Among other areas of interest are cellular Networks, Wireless communications and networking, Mobile ad hoc networks, QoS and reliability in real time systems, Distributed system design, integration, and analysis and Cross Layer. She is HEC approved Ph.D. supervisor. She has published several publications in reputed journals/conferences .

Educational Qualifications

Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Wuhan University of Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2007.
Masters in Computer Science from Bahauddin Zakaria University, Multan, Pakistan in 2003
B.Sc. in Advanced mathematics and physics in 2000 from Islamia University Bahawal Pur.

Work Experience

Dr. Sadia Aziz has taught as a lecturer in Computer Engineering Dept and in Marine Engineering Dept of Wuhan University of Technology,Wuahn,China.

Research Experience
Researched the different efficient ways of broadcasting using different approaches like Cross Layer to reduce the broadcast storm problem and system overhead in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks. Currently she is working on two projects titled “Design and Development of GA based efficient mechanism for provisioning and maintaining QoS in 4G networks” and “QoS Provisioning using IPv6”. She is also supervising many PhDs and MS students.
