Dr. Riaz Inayat has a PhD in Information Engineering from Hiroshima University Japan. He received his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, Pakistan and M. Eng. in Telecommunication from Asian Institute of Technology Thailand in 1991 and 1997 respectively.

Dr. Riaz Inayat is currently with the Technologies & Standards wing of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited, where he is engaged in the preparation of technical specifications of emerging technologies and designing of Telecommunication networks. He has published a number of research papers in the field of mobile Internet and heterogeneous wireless networks. His current research interests include data communication, mobile IP, Ubiquitous and mobile networking, and high speed wireless communication.
