Dr. Muhammad Hasan Islam

Dr. Hasan is a faculty member at CASE. He has a vast teaching and industry experience. His areas of expertise are networks, wireless and ad hoc networks, management and performance analysis, design and implementation of security policies. Dr. Hasan is the author of a number of research papers published both locally and internationally acclaimed conferences/journals

Educational Qualifications

Ph.D. Computer Engg, from Centre for Advanced Studies in Engg, Islamabad, Pakistan.
M.Sc. Electrical Engg, From University of Engg and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan.
B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from University of Engg and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan.

Work Experience

Dr Hasan has more than 15 years in instructional and research & development activities. He has also received advanced training in GIS and Digital Mapping from USA. During his stay as a head of system support group in an organization dealing with GIS and digital mapping, he was involved in designing and implementing security polices and performance management. At CASE he has taught the courses of Computer Networks, Mobile Networks, Internet Architecture and Protocols, Network Programming, Network Security, Computer System Security, both at undergraduate and postgraduate level.Dr Hasan is also supervising several students both at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
