The 60 credit hour PhD program at CASE is an extensive program that requires the student to exhibit outstanding research capabilities. The degree program specially focuses on finding intellectual solution (both industrial and academic) with distinct knowledge contributions in the field of ‘Engineering Management’. Students aspiring to be researchers in this program must have exceptional research capabilities with strong academic and industrial knowledge. The program ensures highest level of original research contributions by enforcing exceptional quality measures at various program milestones such as admission, course work completion, doctoral qualifying exam, proposal defense, final defense, publications fulfillment and various formal and informal reviews.
The candidate must possess at least a four year Bachelors degree (PEC recognized) or equivalent and an MS degree in Engineering Management or relevant discipline (minimum 18 years of formal education) from an HEC recognized university. A minimum 3.00/4.00 (or 75% marks) in the MS degree is required. Student has to pass the CASE admission test (GAT Subject) and interview. All candidates must complete any other HEC requirement for admission to the PhD Program.
