Trip To Murree on 14th Feb. 2009
The day started with a brighter than normal sunlight that lasted till we could bask beneath. The schedule was 0900 hrs for all the attendees and the three buses turned up on time sans the cook , he later showed up with lunch-boxes around 0930 hrs. Despite this someone else still had to spoil the mood and that guy turned out be driver of the third bus who insisted on no more than 25 students in his vehicle, the issue was later amicably resolved when space was discovered in the first bus.
The Murree Expressway was closed for traffic due to heavy snowfall so the all the traffic was diverted to the old road which made the drivers haul us at a snail pace. Since, the road was being revamped at many places, the first and second bus met an accident with a Cultus coming from the opposite direction which was neatly smashed up, kudos to whoever was driving it, and the buses were slightly touched up due to the accident.
We hit the spot at around 1200hrs as per plan we wandered around the Mall Road, after a brief stop we headed up for the Kashmir Point and the never-ending snow war continued all along. The prime target was student’s beloved Mr. Adeel , while some people miraculously escaped the wrath. We started coming back for lunch at 1430 hrs. Around
some students wanted to sit on the chairlift which was straight away denied as per plans. At 1700 hrs students started gathering around the bus for group photos, while a student who lost wallet, reported the incident to Rescue-15 along with Mr.Saad. We setoff at 1745 hrs and reached CASE at around 1950 hrs. The fare was paid to the drivers and everybody went towards their homes.
